A Day at Harps Etc

It is so much fun to walk into a  harp store!  Imagine walking into a candy store with all of your favorite candy.  That's what it feels like to walk into Harps Etc.  You have walked into a world centered around the harp.  What kind do you want to own?  A Paraguayan harp, an electric harp, a gold concert grand, a lap harp or folk harp with up to 40 strings?  There are over 40 harps to try out in all sizes and price ranges made by the best harp makers in the world.

Then you turn around and see the wall of music!  You can actually see and try a piece before you buy it.  No more blind purchases.  And you say your tuner just broke and you lost your tuning key?  No problem.  There is a large selection in our accessories case.  Yes, the one next to the carved wood music stands and harp benches.

Perhaps you begin to feel overwhelmed by the selection.   No worries.  The people who work at Harps Etc. are all experienced harpists and teachers ready to answer your questions and help you find what you want.
Every day brings in the best people in the world.  Who are these great people?  People who love the harp!  Our clients are our friends with whom we share a great passion for this amazing instrument.

Who are our customers?  We have people who are just starting out to seasoned professionals strolling in our door.   There is no typical harp player profile.  People from all walks of life come to us to find out more about the harp.  One was a young man who plays rock guitar, another man a systems analyst who loves to learn different instruments, a little girl who can't stop playing glissandos, a middle age woman ready to try new things in her life and a retiree who has never had the time to try a harp before now.  It's always fun to see who walks into the store.

Let me introduce myself.  I'm Jessica Siegel, the owner of Harps Etc.  I get to come to work everyday and share my love of the harp with you!  There is no better job.  But, I'll tell you more about my story later.  Come on by and introduce yourself!
